The Visual Content Repurposing Engine - Advanced
Turn one blog post or video into a full week of visual content — carousels, infographics, short clips, and quote cards — on autopilot.
For content creators and marketers who want to multiply their reach by transforming a single piece of content into multiple polished visual formats without hiring a designer.
Tools in this Stack
Why This Stack?
Most creators publish a blog post or record a video and then let it quietly disappear after one share — that's leaving enormous reach on the table. This three-tool stack builds a repeatable pipeline that squeezes every drop of value out of your content: ChatGPT handles the scriptwriting and copy extraction, Canva transforms that copy into stunning visuals, and Opus Clip automatically cuts your video into scroll-stopping short clips. If you've already experimented with AI tools and want to build a real content flywheel, this is the workflow for you.
The Workflow
Step 1 — ChatGPT: Extract and reformat your content
Start by pasting your blog post (or video transcript) into ChatGPT. Use targeted prompts to break it into the formats you need. For example:
- Carousel: "Convert the key points of this blog post into a 7-slide Instagram carousel. Give me a bold hook for slide 1, one key idea per slide, and a CTA for the last slide."
- Infographic outline: "Extract 6 key statistics or takeaways from this post and format them as a numbered infographic outline with a short headline for each point."
- Quote cards: "Pull 5 punchy, standalone quotes from this article that would work well as social media quote graphics."
- Short-clip script: "Rewrite the core argument of this blog post as a 45-second talking-head video script."
Review and lightly edit the outputs to match your brand voice. ChatGPT does the heavy lifting — you apply the finishing human touch.
Step 2 — Canva Pro: Design your static visuals
Open Canva and search for templates that match your format — carousels, infographic layouts, or quote card designs. Canva Pro gives you access to Magic Resize, which lets you instantly reformat any design for different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest) in one click, plus the full Magic Studio suite of AI design tools.
For each asset type:
- Carousels: Choose a multi-page carousel template, paste in your ChatGPT slide copy, and swap colors/fonts to match your brand kit.
- Infographics: Search "infographic" templates, drop in your numbered points, and replace placeholder icons with ones that match your topic.
- Quote cards: Pick a quote graphic template, paste in your best quotes, and use Magic Resize to generate Instagram, LinkedIn, and Story sizes simultaneously.
Pro tip: Save your brand colors, fonts, and logo in Canva's Brand Kit (Pro feature) so every design is on-brand in seconds.
Step 3 — Opus Clip: Auto-generate short video clips
If your original content includes a video (a YouTube video, webinar, Zoom recording, or Loom), paste the URL or upload the file into Opus Clip. The AI will automatically scan your video, identify the highest-energy and most engaging moments, and generate multiple short clips — already formatted for vertical (9:16) or square (1:1) aspect ratios for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts. Each clip comes with:
- Auto-generated animated captions
- An AI "virality score" to help you pick the best clips first
- Auto-reframing that keeps the speaker in frame
Review the suggested clips, pick your favourites, make any quick edits in the built-in editor, and download. A 30-minute video can produce 5–10 ready-to-post clips in under 15 minutes.
Real-Life Examples
- Example 1: A financial coach publishes a blog post called "5 Money Mistakes to Avoid in Your 30s." She uses ChatGPT to extract the five mistakes as carousel slides and five punchy quotes, designs them in Canva using her brand colours, then records a 10-minute talking-head video, drops it in Opus Clip, and gets 6 short clips — turning one afternoon's work into two weeks of content.
- Example 2: A SaaS startup repurposes their monthly product update blog post into an infographic for LinkedIn, a 7-slide carousel summarising the new features, three quote cards with customer testimonials pulled by ChatGPT, and four 30-second Reels clipped from the founder's YouTube walkthrough video.
- Example 3: A health and wellness coach takes her most popular YouTube video on "morning routines," pastes the transcript into ChatGPT to generate a Pinterest-friendly infographic outline, designs the infographic in Canva, and uses Opus Clip to generate five Instagram Reels — tripling the content volume from a single recording.
